🌟 Key Club Trashcan Beautification Project 🌟
Our Key Club students are stepping up to keep our campus looking its best! 🗑🐾
During upcoming sporting events, keep an eye out for our newly decorated trash cans around the stadium. Students have transformed them with school spirit, fun designs, and creative messages to encourage everyone to “slam dunk” their trash instead of leaving it behind. 🏈🏀🎨
This project is all about promoting pride, cleanliness, and community at our games. A huge thank you to our Key Club members for their time, creativity, and leadership in making a difference!

October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month. 💙
This month reminds us of the power we each have to make a difference in how we treat one another. A safe, supportive school starts with small actions—like a kind word or a simple smile.
Let’s commit to building a school community where every student feels safe, seen, and supported every day! 🙌

Attendance Matters! ✨📚
Health-related absences are one of the top reasons students miss class—but there are simple ways families can help prevent them:
✅ Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep
✅ Consume nutritious meals to fuel learning
✅ Encourage regular handwashing and healthy habits at home
By supporting healthy routines, families help students attend school consistently and succeed every day!

💥 Our 6th grade science students are diving into the world of chemical reactions! Using vinegar and baking soda, they conducted experiments to observe evidence of a chemical change. By carefully measuring temperatures and recording observations, they concluded that the reaction was endothermic, as the resulting mixture became cooler than the original substance. 🌡️
But they didn’t stop there! To wrap up their investigation, students analyzed the chemical equation and ensured it was properly balanced - confirming that both sides contained all 14 atoms. Through this hands-on activity, they demonstrated a key principle of science: matter cannot be created or destroyed. 🧪✨
Hands-on learning = big discoveries!

📚 On Thursday and Friday, Ms. Ambrose’s English 12 DE classes participated in a college admission simulation!
With guidance from Ms. Rush, students acted as enrollment committees who had to evaluate a list of ten candidates, decide which three to accept, and defend their choices. 🎓
The activity gave them a behind-the-scenes look at the college admissions process from the flip side, and sparked thoughtful discussions about what makes an applicant stand out. 🌟

On #SeeSayDay, we encourage everyone to speak up if you become aware of a potential safety issue.
Not sure who to talk to? A teacher, staff member, or trusted adult is always a good place to start. If the concern is immediate, reach out to local law enforcement.
