It has 813 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1.” The site will also tell you that we have the best teachers in Virginia, and that we are ranked in the top 10 best school divisions and best places to teach in the commonwealth.

But that’s only part of the story. As a proud superintendent, I can tell you that we’re continuously pointed in the right direction. Our teachers are top-notch, and I see the inspiring work they are doing in our classrooms every day. We have a strong, supportive School Board, and our division leadership team is exceptional. We are always moving forward because of the passion and grit of our teachers and staff—and their conviction that every student deserves and can achieve success.
